At TESCO Specialty Vehicles we aim to provide mobile solutions for any medical need. Our innovative product has recently caught the attention of Ashland, Ohio after the successful completion of a mobile health clinic intended to bring vaccinations to Amish and “isolated populations” across the county.
This initiative aims to address the challenges faced by these communities, such as limited transportation options, by bringing the clinic directly to them. By collaborating with community leaders and providing culturally sensitive healthcare, the department aims to build trust, provide accurate information, and promote vaccine confidence. The mobile clinic will have trained healthcare professionals to administer vaccines and educate individuals on their importance. The initiative not only aims to vaccinate these populations but also sets an example for achieving healthcare equity and reducing disparities in underserved communities.
This build features a used 2022 Ford E450, refurbished to include a generator, two vaccination areas and an area for a clerk to process paperwork. We were happy to have the opportunity to work with the Ashland County Health Department through our design and build process and help them serve Ashland County.
